How do you wash a car to maintain its life and appearance of its painted, wrapped or coated surface?
Maintaining the appearance and longevity of wrapped, paint protection film and ceramic coated cars is crucial. Here's how we ensure proper washing: We start by applying a gentle pre wash solution to loosen any dirt and debris that would not normally rinse off with a pressure washer, then we rinse the car to remove all the pre wash and any contaminates it loosened. Next, we use a PH Neutral soap to foam the car down, using microfiber wash mitts we perform a contact wash. We always work from the top down and use grits guards in between each panel to minimize scratching. Thorough rinsing follows to remove all soap residue, and we dry the car with plush microfiber towels and compressed air to prevent water spots. It's important to avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners as they can damage a wrap or strip the coating from the car.
What is a ceramic coating?
A ceramic coating is a protective layer applied to a vehicle's paint. It can help protect against UV rays and environmental contaminants. Benefits include enhanced protection, water repellency, UV resistance, chemical resistance, and improved gloss. It requires proper application and maintenance for optimal results.

Paint correction is a process used to improve the appearance of a vehicle's paint by removing imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, water spots, and other defects. It typically involves several steps, including washing and decontaminating the vehicle's exterior, followed by carefully leveling the paint surface using abrasive compounds or polishes. This process removes a thin layer of clear coat to eliminate imperfections and restore a smooth, uniform finish.
Can I get a ceramic coating without a paint correction?
While it's possible to skip paint correction and directly apply a ceramic coating to your vehicle's paint, it's not the ideal approach for achieving optimal results. Paint correction involves removing imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, and oxidation from the paint surface before applying the ceramic coating. Without paint correction, any existing imperfections will be sealed beneath the coating, potentially compromising its effectiveness and overall appearance. After, we use our heated carpet and upholstery extractor removes dirt and staining. We keep extracting until our best result is achieved.
